I can also recommend the Avenger products. I have a A4050CS myself, and it's brutal.

One thing I havent quite figured out though, is the boom arm fastening thingy. Sometimes it works like I think it should, other times I can't get it loose/fasten it without hassling with it.

Oh and a shot from the session. LOVE the light from the Octabank :D

The poster confirms that it is the 74" Octa. I think it's just the angle because you can see at the end of the boom that there is no monoblock mounted which means it can't be the 69". The 74" Octa is the only indirect lightbank.

and my foot is a foot. So I like it

yeah I saw that.. Wow I would not venture to have that monster on a location shoot unless I had a big strong guy holding it... Those dudes have balls.

It's a decimal system the whole way, so there are 1/10 degrees. ie on the radio, the weather would be reported as: "It's 17.3 degrees outside at the moment." But 17 is fine.

I shoot with it alot on location, it just takes the right grip gear for it.

Its actually alot more durable and sturdy then the 175cm Octa or the 135cm Octa.

I love it for location work, along with the Deep Octa 100cm its my two most used modifiers for location shooting.
