Tried something new for me sunday,my new camera,a mk 3,and watching mud slinging and cars trying to get to top of muddy hills.Few did.

This was held at Shelsey Walsh where I do my hillclimb photography on the big bangers on tarmac.

The meet was abandoned soon after lunch because it got so muddy no one could stand up ,marshalls not being able to safely do the job.
The scene,

Great stuff Chris and nice to see something different. The new toy looks to be a massive improvement over the Mk2; the shots seem to have more vivid colours and the clarity is much better.

This set really gives a feel for the event although contrary to Petris, I'd like to see a bit more mud and dirt being flung everywhere!

All the best mate,

Rhod

Hi Rhodri,
Whats occuring.
To be honest I think you are right about the colours ,they are better and most of these were shot in TV mode, single shot and the histograms were spot on most of the day in very changeable light, rain and sun.
The camera has gone back to Canon for free focus check and service ,but very pleased with it so far.
Regards,

Big Ant,
Slow yes ,but you can virtually touch the cars !
