Spammers now resorting to PM's?

Rubiaceaey just spammed me with a lovely yet useless PM about "The Force". These little buggers sure do get resourceful don't they?

Yup I got the same one and deleted it right away. I figured it was a "system wide" PM somehow.

yeh..i got the same spam from RUBIACEAEY.

RUBIACEAEY is banned and messages removed.

Please use report button (at any post) to report PM spammers so we can nail them ASAP. Thanks!

no - just use any report button from any post and tell us what the problem is in your report and we will deal with it from there.

I got that PM too and I see it's now deleted.

Thanks Perry - just to make sure everyone understands - in the report, tell us that you received PM spam, show us the spam and tell us the sender.

For example, you could do a 'reply' but don't send it - copy the 'reply' (highlight it and use Control_C) and then open a report post and paste (Control_V) the spam into the report. Add some words and send that to us.

Thanks for the update on how to report....I got the same PM, but since PMs to me are always from known members, I know when to accept or delete!

If you don't know the member, be careful...

So great with the 30 day 30 post rule now for sell its reduced all those phone selling stuff

Or simply forward the PM to any moderator(s) that happen to be online at the time. That will work as well.

At the bottom of the main forum list, you'll see a link for "view forum leaders". (just above where you see the list of online users).

Click that, and you'll get a list of moderators with their online/offline status.
