I have no idea how come this picture doesn't have 1000 comments!

It is very well done IMHO. Good lighting, sharpness and expression on the model. Nothing I would change. Good Job!!!

Very nice image! Good lighting, and nice crop... I wish her other eye was either covered completely or visible... it sort of bugs me when I see only a part an eye... but that's totally a personal thing. I also like the contrast in this photo.

That large shadow across her eye is the result of placing the main light on the wrong side of the face. The main light should always be placed on the same side as the part in the hair. When placed this way the main light gets up under that hair instead of leaving a shadow like you have here.

Well said Benji. Them's the rules but I intentionally went the other way to hide an eye and a side of her face with a little shadow for mood. Sort of a mock fireside shot with warm colors and a nice bear skin to lay on. I should have explained this at the beginning. This is actually a mag ad for the jewelry which isn't the focal point of the shot but when the silversmith's name is added as text overlay my hope is it will all click. Thanks for all input guys. And also look for Roxanna's face to become well recognized. Quite a beauty. I think it is just a matter of time.

Beautiful, I like it in spite of the shadow. IMHO, I would only soften the shadow edge.

I'd burn her forearms a bit to make them less of a focus, but it's a great shot!

It is a good photo, color and crop. I agree with the eye being fully exposed or fully covered.
