The Jumping Spider started out posing nicely, didnt last long.(eyes not too sharp, but the fangs definitely caught MY eye)
The Tiger Beetle Wasnt worried about me, he wanted to hunt.
Sorry about overall sharpness, had to re-size and lost some deatil.

Good lord! No apologies... These are very good and I am so intrigued by macro. These images just push me to get a macro lens and some tubes.

Thanks all very much for the kind words on this one. It is much appreciated, specially since we are just now getting out from under a nasty winter with too much snow.
Equipment/settings are as such, Canon 5D. MP-E65. 580-EX II. (and Flash bracket). Hand-held with any available bracing. ISO of 200. F-stop of 10. manual focus. flash settings were TTL- 1/3.

Thanks very much. I was more worried about the Jumping spider than the Tiger Beetle.
