Love em!

The dogs that work cattle have to be better than the herders working sheep -- look how those cows kick and jump... crazy! I know it isn't uncommon for the cattle workers to be missing an eye and some teeth but I bet they learn quickly or aren't cattle dogs very long.

Actually, while I was taking these, one of the dogs had her tooth extracted for her. But she was ok and never quit doing what she was told. I've watched them do both cattle and sheep and it seems that cattle separate more than sheep. A lot of time go into the training of these dogs.
