Our local zine (WhatzUp) does a local award show every year at Piere's in Fort Wayne. I was offered a ticket, so I went and shot a few bands just for fun. I've got to say that I have respect for you guys that shoot in extremely contrasty lighting on a regular basis. The b-stage (Zephania shots) was particularly killer.

Well, that respect goes both ways :)

You did well IMO.

Nicely done, sir. #7 is great great great. That 'B' Stage ALWAYS has hideous light. I thought I was gonna be smart and set up two flashes and override it. So I did, but I forgot to bring the transmitter. I tried to fire them a few times with the slave flash, but it was ugly. That's what I get for trying to be smart.

Hahaha, those were your flashes...I should have known, but I saw a few suspect photogs in the crowd and figured it was one of them. And I've definitely left my transmitter at home before. Anyway, you came away with some really nice stuff...all I'm going to say about that is GRAVEROBBER!
