Crater Lake

Took these 2 yesterday with my 30d. Definitely one of the most beautiful lakes in the world. If you haven't been you gotta go!

I like the first one just a tiny bit better than the second because the snow isn't blown out. Great job on keeping everything exposed correctly!

One of my favorite places from childhood! Thanks for the flashback.
I'll be spending a couple months near there in late summer/early fall and can't wait!

I've been there several times, but never this time of year. I'd love to see it with that much snow, although it must be tough getting around.

Yeah unfortunately I didn't have my skis with me when we went. Skis with skins would have been perfect and A LOT faster. We hiked about halfway to the Watchmen from Rim Village. On the way back the snow softened up and I was really wishing I had a pair of snowshoes on my feet .
