One thing that I do like about shots like many of these is how you can play with DOF. Shooting in a cemetary can be so interesting if you take some time away from the shot to really look around and contemplate the history of those lying before you. Here are a couple (poor quality) photos of the famous "standing Buddha" located at a cemetery in Ushiku, Japan. The Buddha is 120m (394 ft) tall. (At one time, the Ushiku Daibutsu was listed in the Guinness book of world records as the tallest bronze statue in the world, but I think that claim may no longer be accurate.)
