Looking to buy one? Try Amazon (external link) or look in our own For Sale forums here on POTN

edit : I completely mis-read his post. I thought he was looking for the lens itself. Don't know how I did but....

As gasrocks said, any specific question you have?

I actually have never used any of the manuals for any of my gear, here is usually a better place to ask if you do have a question ;)

Practically all of Canon's manuals are the same unless they have a specific feature such as IS, or Tilt Shift. Everything else is just switches that (nearly) all of them have.

It's actually my wifes and I don't actually use it that often, and I don't think there is any one particular question she has I beleive she is just wanting her manual and we cannot find it. So I went to Canon to download it and cannot locate it there either. I really am not that interested in buying another one, but it is something that is nice to have around if you have the lens and if you ever did need to reference it, it is nice to have. Is there anywhere to download it online or will I have to purchase another one? I know there are other manuals online, just was hoping this one was also. I mean I have my serial numbers and all that but I still cannot locate it on Canons website which I feel is silly and bad customer service.

if you know how to attach the lens to a camera, you won't need the manual.

My point is my wife was wanting the manual to go with her $600 lens. I am sure there is info in the manual that is useful or it wouldn't have a manual that big. She knows how to put the lens on but she just wants the manual.

If you have looked at a lens manual, you know there really is nothing in them.

I understand you just want it, only real option I see is to put up a WTB thread in the buy section.

I will look in the morning to see if I can find mine, might be able to throw up a scan of it or something.

Ok, my good deed for the day ;)

Scan of the English pages of the 100mm Macro Manual (the reason these manuals are so big is they have a ton of languages in them).

Thank you Grentz, just trying to please the woman. I am sure you know how that goes. Anyone else find one on the web please let me know. I don't care that it is scanned or Adobe, doesn't matter as long as she has a manual. Thanx in advance!

Am I missing something? He posted a manual, yet you still ask for one?

Man that is weird, I swear his post was not there when I posted mine. My cookies must have not refreshed or something. Thank you! That or maybe he edited after posting maybe? Either way the links were not there when I made my post.

I am looking for the same user manual, but the links above are no longer valid. Can someone repost the manual, so that I can download it? I would greatly appreciate it.
