Well, took some photos.

That's the good news.

However, they're of me.

Clearly the bad news.

Setup: Quadra into DeepOcta (both diffusers) camera left, heavily feathered to push most of the light across in front, gridded Ranger 20cm reflector with accessory holder and gels camera right behind subject. Canon 1DsmkIII 70-200/2.8 IS with a PW TT5 and Skyport in the hotshoe, firing the shutter with a remote cable from FlashZebra. Firing everything with either a TT1 or a Sekonic L348 (actually a 358) with the PW transmitter fitted.

You're in trouble, in that case...

Yeah,I love it. Hadn't had the chance to shoot for a few days, so dragged it out tonight to just use it, really :-) Wanted to play with the gels, as much as anything. Getting some more useful gels next week (CTO, etc).

Yeah we use CTO's a lot at venues as the strobes are just too cool when bounced off ceilings.

Also, i was doing some tests last night with the silver and gold deflectors and i didn't notice the 'Pee' yellow that Robert mentioned. I was using it inside a DO. I'll have to do some more tests, but i actually liked the color out of it. Weird.

Does anyone have some shots they could post that were taken with the 135 octa? I'm still trying to decide which octa I want first...

I've shot a lot with the 135cm Octa. What would you like to see?

Yeah, wouldn't want to let it slip that you're beta testing the new Strobocta from Strobella!

LOLO. That was a funny slip because that would be about a 5.5" Octa.

Nowadays I shoot Nikon, but deep inside I am still a Canon lover... plus Nikonians don't have a cool place to hang like POTN :)
