Weird, i guess we all have our methods. I do it above my head, like an umbrella.

Without either baffle attached, i grab the mounting ring from inside, put it above my head (effectively, wearing it like a hat), while gripping hte mounting ring from inside, i pull up the snap locks into place. Been working fine so far. Granted the DO is much more rigid than the 69" box is.
