Is it my imagination or are prices coming down on used lenses? I was watching a 300 f4 IS last night and it went for $780 even though it looked like a good lens from someone with good feedback. It also seems like other lenses are going for lower amounts and maybe being available longer before someone buys.
Is this a cycle that prices go through or is the economy really cutting into prices in a bigger way?
Just wondering.

depend on seller. Some just want to do a quick fire sales and have their price a bit lower than normal.

With the economy in the tank people are probably eager to unload some of there stuff for less then they would normally accept.

I mostly notice it when I'm looking to sell something...the other way around when I'm looking to buy
