I saw the $8 ebay ones and I know the E1 needs a grip to work. I saw the camdapter but I think it only fits the xt. Anyone?

Probably the camdapter, it is a bit pricey though.

It seems to be the best made, nicest quality one on the market. There are some cheap plastic ones out there on ebay and such, but they do not seem to be the greatest.

It will fit the XSI, it pretty much fits any camera.

I added the velcro to all my lens caps if you noticed. I can't believe no one came up with a system like this. The strap works pretty good. The problem is for it to work extremely well it needs to be pretty tight. But at that tight setting, you can't really access the wheel and iso button. Still in the end it's much better than a neck strap or free hand. What I really enjoy is that fine leather smell which takes me back to my childhood when I we made leather belts and such.

I forgot to add why I didn't get the universal ebay strap from ebay for $8. You must remove your strap every time you want to take your battery out. With the camdapter plate, there is no need to ever remove it even for tripod mount.

Went with the camdapter and black leather strap. It's as good as it gets.
I wish they had a clip adapter ring to attach your neck strap to because the hand strap eliminates the neck strap.

Unless you gripped it, it should work on that, too.
