Has anyone tried this? I wander what would happen. I'm really interested to hear about it if any of you have done it and maybe see samples? Thanks guys!

Not ideal. You'll be practically touching the subject. But it all depends on what size you use.

Correct, ext. tubes are not meant for WA lenses.

Yes I tried, I couldnt get a subject in focus period. Even touching the front of the lens, nothing.

yeap, give you the coverage of a normal watch dial.
sold it, and got the 60mm 2.8 and couldn't be more happier :cool:
