And I am celebrating with a few shots of our backyard Eastern Bluebirds...my favorite bird! Thanks to all of you who have been so encouraging and helpful in my quest to learn how to use this gear of mine...it ain't been easy!!

Thanks Kenn...yes the second one is Jr and he is being chased off by his Papa since he and Mama have just completed their nest. It is hard to watch...poor little fella!

Just as I'd imagined. :)
And congrats too on their completed nest. I have a working theory about the parents chasing off the youngins... It may seem heartbreaking to the hosting humans, but I believe it is good for all. The young birds must be taught to seek out their own safe space, and they get great practice perfecting their evasive flying skills... which they'll likely need wherever they do settle down to live.

Btw, Missy's nest is about 80% done I'd say, and she's been very busy finishing it now. It seems she may need to lay soon and we are STOKED! :)
