Apr 05, 2005 21:10 | #1 Here is another picture of Al Faw, just from the opposite viewpoint. I really liked the way the palace was reflecting off the water. Apr 05, 2005 21:53 | #2 Are you a soldier in Iraq? Resident? Its not every day that anyone sees any actual good pictures out of Iraq since the media is so obsessed with negative pictures. The heat in Baghdad wasn't horrible, however I got stuck with a blown engine in a C-130 in Kuwait once, 142 degrees F on the runway. I almost melted. Just a week earlier it was -28 degrees F in the mountains of Afghanistan. -Brad
