Here is another picture of Al Faw, just from the opposite viewpoint. I really liked the way the palace was reflecting off the water. I would have waited for better conditions, but the snipers were quite active in this area and I didn't want to push my luck!

Are you a soldier in Iraq? Resident? Its not every day that anyone sees any actual good pictures out of Iraq since the media is so obsessed with negative pictures. Thanks for sharing nice pictures, the ones you have been able to show are very nice, keep it up!

Since last summer? Wow I guess you are just finally getting used to the heat.

Do you have a website with your pictures posted? I'd love to see more. Very well done!

The heat in Baghdad wasn't horrible, however I got stuck with a blown engine in a C-130 in Kuwait once, 142 degrees F on the runway. I almost melted. Just a week earlier it was -28 degrees F in the mountains of Afghanistan.

My camelback actually melted on that runway!

I've got an ofoto account that I can share, I haven't gotten around to putting up a website gallery yet, PM me with your email address and I can send you access.

P.S- I love edmonton. I'm originally a canuk myself and used to live in Alberta.

Now that is pretty good. Keep them coming. As was already mentioned seeing good pictures out of Iraq would be appreciated by many.
