Colors are much better in this image than your "Last Try" post.

I'm sorry but ... It looks like you just took a photo, for the sake of taking a photo. I'm guessing this was a test shot to see what your camera is capable of? I can tell you it can do much more than this!!

Try to find some plants/flowers that actually have color and aren't dead.

Sorry, I don't mean to bash. Please don't take it that way.
I just think you need to take more time picking your subjects.

Thx for the input .. I've joined to learn then expand ..

Friser, I managed to catch this when there was a slight overcast in yet another glorious early spring day .. I played with the photo ed pkg in windows a bit to mute it down ..

Grimlock, I put your response down as constructive criticism right away ..appreciate it .. It's what I'm after .. I am absolutly clicking away at random, trying to get off the auto mode.. 2 weeks in to this, and signed up for a couple of courses to advance my knowledge, and hopefully ability .. The fact that these scenes are out from under the heavy snow this year, this early - is amazing, I kinda like the fact that this one seems to have "survived" .. I'm wanting to capture first blush of spring, may be a week or 2 away ..

I look at thousands of photos every day. Some are technically good or better, some are technically not so good. as long as they have an interesting subject, or tell an interesting story, they are all "good". First step, find a subject that will appeal to you and, hopefully, others.
