A720 IS-- sticking front diaphragm

I'm new here, and am very hapy to have found this forum.

The front "diaphragm/shutter" on my A720 IS occasionally sticks partly open.

I have not used the camera in extremely dusty, or sandy conditions, and it only happens now and then.

I'm meticulous about blowing the camera out, using a blower brush, but this problem keeps re-ocurring, and has since the camera was only a few weeks old. Recycling between Off and On 5 or 6 times eventually fixes things.

Is this a common problem? Is there an easy fix? Or, is a trip to Canon in my camera's future?

Happened once on my A620, or maybe it was the A630. A little gentle pulling of it open (or maybe it was the oils from my skin providing some lubrication) and it hasn't happened since. Just be careful not to bend the blades.
