I went out to the park today and took a few pics...

All were taken using my 70-200 f/4. The duck pics are cropped, the geese uncropped. (The geese were less scared of the lens, as well as larger). All pics needed to be resized even after the crop, so I guess it's not that bad, but I can't wait to get that t-con!

1. Wood Duck (Significant Crop)

5. Another Goose

Does the last one need a crop off the top? I like the water drops, but I am not sure about the goose in the background. By the way, this is my first image post on the forum. Thanks for any feedback!

Don't tell me that the wooden duck was afraid of the lens.
Yes, the last pic needed to have the back goose cropped out and perhaps a little fill flash added to bring out his face under the eye. Otherwise the picture was terrific!

Bless the recently fallen and their family and friends.

The last goose needs cropping... there is a strong diagonal from the base of the neck to the tail so I would crop just above its tail... Nice action shot of the Mallard...

Cropped the last pic. The wood ducks were pretty scared of me (and I look nothing like a termite, beaver, or woodpecker);)
