Hi all

Here are a few shots of Common Mergansers. These are extremely skittish here in Iceland so I was rather happy to get these. I've spent a lot of time on these for the last few weeks in hope of getting decent shots and I almost froze my butt off to get these. Hope you like them. Please feel free to comment (C&C).

Great images as usual Sindri. The exposure here is spot on - not easy with the contrasting colors. I agree that these birds are not easy to get close to.

Great shots. I like the last few where they have fish and are flapping their wings. Very nice indeed.

All are just gorgeous captures Sindri!! I would sacrifice a frozen butt for shots like these! Love the nice low angle, it really makes these special.

Sindri, this is an outstanding series. Your low viewing angle is a real winner with these shots, as is the quality of the images themselves. Great captures and beautifully processed.
