Was looking at an old photo and decided to re-edit it.
Feel free to share your thoughts, i'd appreciate it.

Very interesting. I like ti. Not sure if the cigarette being cut off like that bothers me...but the clarity of the smoke, the dark mood...very cool.

I'm on a mac and images are generally brighter on my screen and I like it as I see it. I'm wondering how much darker on a PC it is and if that's too dark?

I like it..It has mood and impact,,I also like the film feel to it.. Only a few little concerns.. I don't like the way you chopped into her eye, little tight on the cigarette and a little too much negative space to the left.. Some people will comment it's a tad too dark,,but I like it that way..

Otherwise nice lowkey image..

Thanks Mikelagelo ( nice name btw  ) while i was editing the photo i wish i hadn't cut off the cigarette in the original either. This actually wasn't a posed shot, in fact was a candid at a BBQ. i considered myself lucky to catch the shot in the first place

I'm editing on a calibrated Macbook Pro... i'm PC stoopid ( and prone to virus :o ) so Mac seem appropriate for me.

Thanks yogestee, I didn't want to chop away from the eye, but i felt if i didn't it somehow took away from the picture.. i don't know how to describe it other than a feeling that i had when i viewed the pic.

Mike,,I prefer the second submission.. It still has impact and mood.. Often with quick grab shots like this one you are stuck with what you get,,you just can't re-shoot them..

BTW,,the girl looks Thai or Lao..

Thanks for the comments guys and gals  .

The photo is pretty much open to interpretation. I thought there was plenty that ppl could grab from this but i guess it's not for everyone. Nonetheless C&C greatly appreciated ;)
