Heard about this on a podcast l few weeks ago. KatMouse is a program the enhances the scrool wheel on your mouse. It basically makes it possable to scroll anything without clicking on that window to activate it.

Example. You are sorting some images from 3 open windows but only really working in one. you can scroll a window that is "under" the one you are working in, just by moving the mouse over it and scrool. Normaly you have to click on the window you want to scrool and it pops to the top of the stack. then you have to click back on the other window. kat mouse eliminate all the clicking.

This is much more complicated to explain than it is to do it.

http://ehiti.de/katmouse/ (external link) is the homepage for it. I love it and would recoment it if you do a lot of work between windows. If you dont it is kinda worthless.

Figures. The one program I would love this feature is for MS Office where I might have two Excell or two Word docs open. But it doesn't work with Office 2000 for some reason. :(
