Thanks for the comments. I was there last spring. The snow had just melted a few days before and there was still plenty of snow in shady areas. Only the conifers were green, but some of the other trees were just starting bud break. The trees in the foreground were mostly drab brown and none of the grass had started growing yet. There was plenty of snow on the mountains.
