Well, mine just arrived by FedEx overnight and it has DUST on the noodle. Should I send it back or try to clean it myself? Is quality control gone forever?

Dust? You should have seen it before he cleaned off any evidence of bird presence on it.

...is certainly a cry for help, but probably harmless self-inflicted therapy!

If you think that remembering the lyrics is bad - I've got the 45 rpm record downstairs in my basement! Do any of you remember what is on the flip-side?? I think that the flip-side is a great match for you, belmondo!

Is that the one where the flip side is just the same thing, only backwards?

Well, Tom, I didn't want to tell you, but now that I've seen the ravings brought on by the loss of your tripod and associated gear, I must share this information with you. I have seen what appears to be a wimberly head in another post on this very forum. It was cleverly disguised as the antlers of a Desert Moose. Who knows, the tripod may also be found ingeniously hidden as a body part on the same moose. Good hunting.

Yes, yes, but where is the link to the thread about why you walk off without your tripod?

Yes, Maureen, you're quite right. Looks like It's just about on its last leg--mind you, it looked much the same way when this all started! Think I'd better go climb into my comfy straitjacket and take a couple of valium now....before I'm tempted to hit it again while it's down. :D

Great fun, everyone! And many thanks to you, Tom, for presenting the opening for some really cheap (but good-natured) shots and a lot of laughs over the course of the last few days. I sincerely hope you find a satisfactory replacement for your dear departed gear soon. Keep us posted.

Cheers,

Terry

Yup, the flip side is backwards! I've never figured out how they were able to sing the song and play the music backwards like that :confused::confused::D:D:D
Guess that's why I don't come up with these HUGE money-maker ideas like belmondo. lol
