it's kinda cool, but that big bright thing in the front (amid all the black garbage bags) ruins the picture for me...

I know. you are dead right
it was a killer seeing it but I decided to leave it in as it was part of the 'crime' scene for real
lol

I first starting cropping the picture but it took away from the whole,so I left it but understand completely what you mean

many thanks

ps

also I left it because of the contrast of the black/white scenario
:)))

they were a bunch of white tulle (net) ladies dresses thrown in a heap

Walmart ...... and probably camera stores;)

I found out from the lady who was packing up ( place in the picture above) that she is opening up again further down the street
maybe the rent went too high here at this place.
its a bit run down but a very busy street. many immigrants shop and sell around there . (this lady is from Africa)
the atmosphere around there is like a mini New York , all kinds of nationalities .
probably what New York eventually started out like after Ellis Island opened up the gates/ doors for so many.....from far countries

You maybe right about the rent Marie, I know that's more the cause of many store closings around here, the high cost of rent. Sounds like a fun place to shop.
