i've just bought canon 50D and when i look throught the view finder ican see a circular shade on the left side corners of the view finder is this normal?
igot atamron 18-270 VC and cokin basic UV filter on however ican't really see that shade when iview the photos on my laptop...
also when i mount my canon 50mm 1.8 i see the same thing..
any help will be much appreciated:)

canon50D/canon 450D/Tamron 18-270VC/canon18-55is/canon 75-300/canon 50mm 1.8/manfrotto 725B
