I've been playing with a little HDR of late, This is by far the most satisfying for me. C&C is as always welcome.

Edit. I think I'm going to clone out the 'No Cycling' symbol bottom left

Beautiful. I'd crop some out some of that sky.

oh i missed that the OP mentioned cloning out the biking symbol. I would have to agree. Normally i would say that it definitely adds to the environment, but seeing as it is cut off it becomes distracting.

I think Megadima's edit of the image is awesome. I'm curious about the horizon though. In the thread above, the Seychelles image is criticized for having it's horizon on the midline. This image does too, but works so well.

What's the 'rule' on midline horizons?

Cloned out no bike marker and then boost the color and added some unsharp mask while in lab color mode using the ligtness tab

Nice nice edit. You can save some time from going into lab mode by using a luminosity blend mode. Copy the layer, or the parts you want to sharpen, sharpen, and then set blend mode to luminosity for that new sharpened layer. It will only blend the sharpen effect to affect the luminosity channel as in lab mode technique.

just tried this and at 300 or 400% view the lab color way keeps the colors dark where as the luminosity weakens it somewhat.

I just selected the rectangular marquee tool and boxed in the no biking sign making sure I got the edge of the marquee to run down the white line of the boarder. Then I selected the healing brush tool and alt click on an area of the walkway then went back over the the box and covered it up. Really not too much involved in the steps.
