That is an entire flickr portfolo. Too many pictures to critique. If you want critique on a particular photo please post the photo in question here.

Technically, you are able to post as many as eight photos, but if you are interested in getting responses, limit it to one photo, or a group of two or three that are tied together by a common subject or theme.

Since you're new -- to get the best feedback you should actually have the images appear in the forum. Read the sticky on top on embedding.

In an image, you really need to have a "look at me" portion. What are you trying to show to the user. I don't see that in the first two.

Your soccer shot is pretty good, although if you had gotten down a little further and shot up and across at them it would have been a stronger image.

I hope that helps.

Mansfield College needs to be leveled, and correct the keystoning. There's also a weird bright halo around the building on the right. The building on the right is also over exposed.

Keble College also suffers from a tilted horizon. The ungrounded tree branches on either side also tend to detract from the visuals. Walk a few steps forward and you'll get a better angle to see more of the college while eliminating the distracting elements.

Football Tackle was shot too low (cut off the head of the player in back when there was ample room to point up), and too much negative space on the right.

Thanks for the feedback. The first two are really just documentaries of the college grounds and main buildings - for example, as shots for newspaper articles on those colleges.

I'll try that with the soccer shot - rugby match coming up soon :)

Thanks!

Thanks! The halo was from my initial ideas of HDR - I didn't realise there was software to automatically merge exposures so I did that manually, hence the halo. Point noted :)

I'll head over to Keble and have another go when I'm next in Oxford.

I'll try that with my shots for a rugby match I'm going to soon.

Thanks!
