who sleeps poorly after a large purchase?

I purchased a sigma 500mm F4.5 last night on ebay and agreed with the seller to ship it overnight today so it will hopefully show to my house saturday. Well I slept like crap last night, I have been dreaming of a 500mm lens for over 2 years and thats all I could dream of last night. Seriously remember when you were a kid and xmas eve you just couldnt sleep because of the excitement of getting up to open presents, thats what I was like lol.

all day today at work my mind was wandering and now I am just sitting here waiting for tomorrow lol

I cannot remember the last time I was this excited

Getting there/it is half the fun. I would argue that it is more than half. Once you get it, it will be anticlimatic.

I'm always impatient ...dreams, nightmare's, etc

I am definitely the same way. I actually took a whole day off of work the day my 500mm came.

I couldnt sleep after the money i spent... and that was only on a 50 f1.8 I know it will be well worth it once it comes

I received my 35L today from BH. I've been wanting this lens for a long time... needless to say my dreams were about shooting at 35mm for the past 2 days. I even had a nightmare where all my 35L shots were OOF and soft.

I do. I slept absolutely horribly the night after I won my 1Ds II on eBay. My biggest single camera purchase, even with the fantastic deal I got on it. It hasn't disappointed either!

I didn't sleep well last night after buying my new 70-200 f/2.8 yesterday, but I think it's because I couldn't use it yesterday.

I never loose sleep after the purchase, but on occasion loose sleep before I finally make my mind up to buy it.

Just wait until you drop your first grand on a lens....

I was buzzed for about 2 days after buying my 1DII, mostly because it was used and I got to purchase it in person, with cash. I think I spent most of that night reading up on the custom functions and playing with the 8.5 fps.

I routinely spend a grand in ink and paper.

I think when I buy the 400 2.8 I'll start to shudder, though.

i sleep better when i make a purchase. faster i sleep, closer i am to getting the lens

i do have bad sleep when i cant make a decision on a purchase
