I left for work yesterday and when I came back, I found one of my living room window broken. But the weird thing about it is, their was no pieces of broken glass inside my house, their were all out side.
So I looked at it from the inside and saw the marks from my big boy's paws above the broken window.
He most of try to scared the mailmen again, the poor guy is petrified of my dog. he must of had an hart attack when the window broke.
Oh well, what can I do, he's just a big kid after all.

there he is, looking through the window he broke. Kids

About 25 years ago the post office stopped delivering mail to the house I lived in at the time because my roommate had a black lab and a German shepherd and the mailman was too intimidated by them. We had to pick up our mail at the post office.

You need either a stronger window or a smaller dog! 1" bullet-proof glass should do the trick.

P.S.: Where I live there is NO mail delivery. A P.O. Box is required here in the wilds of Dragoon, Arizona.

Same where my brother lives. And he's still in Los Angeles County, about 20 miles from where I live. It's a tiny mountain community and I guess the post office feels it's too insignificant to bother with.

And yet they insist on calling themselves the United Stated Postal Service. Talk about an oxymoron....

Right now, our local one-horse post office is "full service," meaning they sell stamps, receive outgoing packages, etc. Our postmistress says that there is talk about shutting down our local post office due to budget cuts. If they do, we would then have to go to either Benson (25 miles away) or Willcox (35 miles away) for our mail, as the powers decide.

Alternatively, she say that our post office may be converted to a "box drop," where they do nothing but stuff the boxes. We would still have to go to Benson or Willcox for anything outgoing.

My wife works for the Amerind Foundation, an archeological museum and research institute here in Dragoon (http://www.amerind.org/ (external link)). Our postmistress says that the Amerind accounts for more than three-quarters of the mail in and out of our post office. If they close the Dragoon post office, the Amerind may get mail delivery because of its volume. The other 200 or so box holders would be on their own.

It's all up to those loving and caring folks in Washington, so we know our future is in good hands.

Yeah! And I don't know who this "Bill" character is, but, according to my wife, almost everything we get is his! I hear her sorting the mail every day, "Bills, Bills, Bills, Bills, ...." Let him get his own damned mail!
