i know this seems like such a simple tast but i can not find a program that allows u to actually apply a border / border effects to multiple images at once???

will lightroom do this?

please dont tell me to try and the typical programs unless u have actually done it yourself.

i am dying to know what program will allow this.

i wish google picasa or picnic allowed this as they are both great basic image editors.

i currentky have the newest version of photoshop elements

In Photoshop you can create an action that does this.

Not sure if Lightroom will let you do this, as I think it also requires PS to be installed ?

Yeah, it's easy to do, I think there's a post somewhere here on the forums about how to do it, or you can do a search on Google for it.

Here you go. This is one of the free ones I found. Just download, unzip, and load the action in PS.
http://www.starzen.com/imaging/psactphotoborders.htm (external link)

Then open Adobe Bridge, select the images you want to add a border to, open tools, PS, Image Processor, and then run the action.

It is a plugin for Lightroom. Will process up to 10 images at one time in the unlicensed version.

I have it and think it is very easy to use.

Download the trial version of lightroom first and give it a go as it may not be as extensive as you may require. In which case, you would be better off with photoshop.

photoshop alone - i didnt think was good for editing raw, i thought lightroom was better for actual raw editing...
