what do we do, postpone it for 2 weeks? the easter is next weekend so i assume all of us will be travelling or spending time with the family

Well, Meteoschweiz doesn't even agree with itself. If you look on the detailed forecast page, they say a few drops might come in the evening. Depending on the forecast service you're looking at, you can have a bit of rain or mostly sunny...

I'd say we should maintain it. And if the weather is really too bad, we can find something else to go shoot...

Morning guys

Just had the daily met brief here, and for tomorrow, they say we may see a few light showers, but nothing too bad. Bear in mind, this is the forecast for aviation, so sometimes their definitions are different :-)
If you guys want to hold off for 2 weeks, fine with me, think I can also make that weekend.
As I'm working from 0600 on sunday morning, I can see how the weather looks and then have a better idea if it's worth getting to the zoo sunday afternoon.
If you lot are going to be there, someone just let me know and I'll look for you once I get there, sometime around 1300 I guess, depending on what time I get out of the office. The joys of working in aviation :-)

Also, there are a number of classic car shows and airshows going on this year if anyone is interested in those. I plan to be up at Hasenstrick 24th May for one of the first car shows.

Should we say at 11 at the zoo entrance?

For Alexei, that would mean taking the 9:35 train from lucerne. For those in ZH, well, you should be able to find which tram to take :p

Chris, I'll PM you my mobile number so you can contact us if you make it ;-)a

Dorin

The 2 airshows I've marked so far are

22 Aug, St Stephan, Hunterfest. Nice, went last year, roasted in the sun :-)

07/08 Oct Axalp. This year makes my 4th year on the trot.

For car shows, have a look on my events page as I'm lazy :-)

Final weather check

Today should be ok, 14 degrees at lunch, with a max of 16 mid afternoon. Some scattered clouds around 5000-7000ft with a small chance of occasional light showers in the PM. Winds light, around 3knots from the east.
