Yes, Virginia, there is a difference between a lens "designed for digital" and one that is not. And filters on lenses can cause flare.

So in other words, exactly what people have been saying for half a decade from a publication from three years ago...


I don't hate macs or OSX, I hate people and statements that portray them as better than anything else. Macs are A solution, not THE solution. Get a good desktop i7 with Windows 7 and come tell me that sucks for photo or video editing.

I actually quite like the perspective comparisons and focal length comparisons in that document, neat to really give you a good side by side idea of the differences.
