I can't say the lighting does anything for me. The concept is interesting, but I would have made a few different shots with different setups/settings/lighti​ng.

Personally I LOVE the idea and concept. The "funky" lighting with the rough background for a wedding shot-- is exactly what I do. But I not sure this shot is the one you wanted. I think first of all I would have went to capture the entire wedding dress-- it would make nice contrast to the background -- and not sure you focused on the couple -- looks like focus is behind them.

I'm liking the edit more. The light in the original just washes the skin tones out making it look unnatural.

I like the edit, it has a warmer look that makes it more comfortable to look at.
