Received a wonderful gift from my wife today... the Canon EF 28-70mm f/2.8L USM Lens!!! I’m still reeling from the shock of it.
Now the problem... there is no warranty card in the box! It appears it may be gray market!!! She purchased it at a local Ritz store (in Burlington, MA.), but was not told it did not carry a USA warranty!! Looks like it will be a return.
What I want to be sure of is that there should be a warranty card in it if it was intended for sale in the USA, yes? Are there any markings on the outside of the box that should or shouldn’t be present that will confirm my fears?
I do prefer the USA warranty….
Thanks for any helpful comments.
Happy Holidays.
