If you're asking about Atlex, I've used them quite a bit for epson ink and paper the last 2 years and have never had a problem. Good customer service.

I recently started using shades of paper (external link). When asked, they have always beaten Atlex's price plus at times, offered free shipping. Talk to Erik there, he's a member here at POTN.

As to the Epson Velvet, I would be surprised if it were discontinued. In photo forums across the net, it is probably one of their most talked-about and recommended papers. I would assume it is a consistent good seller.

I have had a problem with the packaging. My paper has been slightly bent on the corners everytime. It is from the handling of the package during shipping. It was not enough to keep me from using the paper though as it was 8.5 x11 and I printed 8x10 so slight bend on corner did not hurt.

I called and complained and they said that they made a note in my account to pack extra carefully. Sure enough, the next package I got was packed better. The shipping is very quick.

I hate when that happens! My last shipment of Amazon books came in a box that was too big, "packed" with 2 of those flimsy blow-up pillows that do nothing to prevent the contents from shifting.. Bent corners on all 3 books  I prefer when things are shrink wrapped onto cardboard!

Thanks for the heads up..
