Hey guys,
I just upgraded to the 40D from the XTI. I have 2 questions. One, i thought the 40D did ISO 3200? Second, i've seen some pics that are took in black and white and a piece of clothing is red, is taht done with Photoshop or is that a setting on one of these cameras?
Thanks!
Adam

whoami?,
You need to set C.Fn 1-3 to 1:On see page 154 of your manual
This will allow you to use ISO 3200 which will show up as H

For a B&W photo with a piece colored is done in software.

This will allow you to use ISO 3200 which will show up as H

Unless you have Highlight Tone Priority enabled, which restricts ISO to the range 200-1600.

You might be thinking of Canon's point and shoots when it comes to the selective coloring thing. They all have it (even my pretty old SD550 has it), but the SLR's don't, as you can achieve better results in post processing.
