I heard that Canon has added a new speedlight called the 270EX. It is supposed to be tiltable. I'm not sure of the power, price or anything else.

Buddy of mine said he got the pre-release version (expected release for MAY ?), for 200 USD. Who will be the first to post the price?? $200 is ridiculous for this little thing. Flickr Photostream

According to the press release, the 270EX is supposed to replace the 220EX. Based on that, my guess is that the new 270EX will be priced comparably to the current 220EX (about $125). Also, Canon's website says the new flash will be released in April 2009. EOS 5D Mark III

Nathan Can you repeat the question, please? More info | Mar 31, 2009 17:50 | #15 There are no manual controls on it, I think. Will the G9 be able to control it? Taking photos with a fancy camera does not make me a photographer.
