First Wheatear of the year for me

Nice to see the Wheatears back on my Local patch
40D + 400/5.6 hand held

That one looks nice and bright. I miss these a lot from back in the UK, I've only ever seen one in Japan (a rarity here).

Were you throwing yellow paint at it?

LOL no paint Stu the yellow is lichen on the rock. Thanks for commenting

I saw my first one ever last Tuesday, they are really engaging birds. Your shot is much better than mine, I had very harsh lighting.
