I work for an after-school program for at-risk elementary school students. I am planning a trip for them to the local gardens, and I thought it would be awesome if we could get a camera for each of the students to use. Does anyone have any ideas on how I could make this happen?
We have near 60 students, so I realize that it could get sort of expensive, but we are pretty well funded, so I'm open to suggestions.
I was thinking of maybe just finding a place that sells disposible point-and-shoot 35mm cameras in bulk. Does anyone have any better ideas? Another option is to check on some photo forums and craigslist to see if anyone would be willing to donate some inexpensive digital point-and-shoots, but I doubt that I would be able to collect anywhere near 60, and I would love for each student to have their own.
