Just tell them that the flash actually softened them out and they are much worse in person! :)

Really, the bounce card works as well as controlling the angle of the bounce so it comes at them more of an angle, instead of straight down. I often tilt the flash so it is pointed slightly back and at an angle.

I made this for pretty cheap. All materials cost around 20 bux and I could make 5 of these out of it. If you go to www.abetterbouncecard.​com (external link) he actually tells you how to make this stuff. He sells one for $45 or you can make five for $20
