My first dewdrops shots..

Here is my first attempt, this was done using my 40D+70-200+3 kenko ext tubes. Please let me know where I can improve. Should I place the flower closer or further from the drop? Thanks!

I am no expert! I wonder if you decreased the ISO if it would give a shallower DOF. Looks to me there is too much detail in the background. Again, I am no expert so may want to take this with a grain of salt.

Nice ones. I'd try to get more isolated drops - you have to be very careful but I often push other grass blades out of the way (some people use scissors to remove them) to give a less cluttered shot. I normally put the flower about 1" to 2" behind the drops depending on the size of the flower. I normally spend more time looking for a nice dewdrop grouping than I do shooting them.

looks like you had a more suitable drop in the first image than the ones you actually used for the close ups - go for as round a drop as possible.
