So I just bought a Nikon SB-28 and an SB-20 and some Cactus V2s for a promo shoot with a band I have tomorrow. I decided to test the setup for the first time on my sister. Tell me what you guys think.

SB-28 camera left, SB20 behind the subject aimed at the back of her head. Taken with a XT and kit lens.

Quality was downgraded to attach...my flickr account is acting up for some reason.

looks ok.. is the white balance on auto? or did you set it to flash? it could be just a little warmer.

also on the ambient light, depends on what you wanted, if you wanted to kill ambient lighting, you did it well..

barely see your rim lighting.. but it is not over done too.. some times i go over board with rim lighting..

once you strobe, you won't go back !!! keep it up..

what was your settings?
