Price policing

Is anyone else tired of seeing comments on for sale threads like this:

Very nice and clean at a good price. good luck with the sale!
Nice price including the hood. Awesome lens!
Urge to spend tax return money rising......

(actual comments all on the SAME ITEM)

My favorite: Great price, this won't last long.....

(then shut up and buy it already!)

Isn't this just a positive form of price policing?

I usually dont mind since they do bump the thread. That's just me though...?

But yeah the ones about, oh once I get my money I'll be all over this is annoying.

You can always use the

HTTP response: NOT FOUND | MIME changed to 'text/html'

The thing that bothers me about those is that I surf the sell forum looking for items with 0 responses. Since most people do not lock the thread when the item has sold I assume that something with 5 posts is probably already gone. Then when I open the thread it's just 5 people who have no intention of buying. If I was the OP I would report them myself.

some feel a need to respond to everything thread they visit. Like me responding to yours.

Off topic chit chat has no place in For Sale threads and are routinely deleted when found. Often sellers welcome these posts and even participate in the chit chat because it bumps their thread for those using last post sorting order.
