I am just getting started in learning about gels for flash... and I'm looking to pick up some CTO gels... what strength(s) are best to have around? I am planning on getting some full CTO, but what about the 1/2, 1/4, 1/8 and 2x varieties? Are those good to have?

Thanks for your input.

The CTO gel to use is dependent upon the WB of the light source which you are trying to bring into balance.
Full CTO converts 5500K to 2900K
1/2 CTO converts 5500K to 3800K
1/4 CTO converts 5500K to 4500K
1/8 CTO converts 5550K to 4900K

I keep a 1/8 CTO on my on-camera flash all the time, so that fill flash does not look so cool
