I was a judge for the "Wright Stuff" competition in TN on Saturday. Unfortunately, I only had time to shoot a few photos of one plane.
Lighting was a challenge and they all required a pretty aggressive crop. C&C encouraged.

The objective is simple, fly as long as possible. These were middle school students and the winning flight time was over 3 minutes! It is impressive to watch. 40D, 24-105mm f/4L IS, 70-200mm f/2.8L IS, 1.4x II, 430EX (and a junk Kalimar 175A with a cheap optical trigger)
