May I respectfully suggest that the mods apply the same post restrictions for new users from "Classified: Sell" to all of Marketplace?

Any particular reason why you're asking for this?

I'm on a spam hunt in the last couple of days as I have had a lot of sneak through. I also noticed a lot of "Posts: 1" in the Offer section. Just wanted to be preemptive. You can just chuck it up to me having a bad morning. :-)

If you see people attempting to get around the market-place rules, then please report the posts - we'll soon get them removed.

Many thanks for the assistance.

Hi I of course am new, and just today read something about this very topic. Though it was brief I am not clear on them.

Are new members not allowed to sell, buy or even trade in the classifieds, until they have been here for 30 days and 30 posts.

Could you please direct me to these rules so I can read them in full? Thanks

Cindy

It is one of the stickies that you are expected to read at the top of the For Sale forum. https://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=584522

Yeeeeaah; like the guy who offered me a 70-200 2.8 IS for $1000
Post count = 1

When I replied back politely that it was too good to be true for a brand new user; he deleted his post.

well this was specifically the "Services Offered/Needed" Section. There were like 4 or 5 of them ... puzzle manufacturer or something was the one that set me off. These places are looking for free advertising and nobody is going to hear from them again.

All they're looking for is something for nothing which annoys me.

The best thing to do is report the post. Click on the little

at the bottom of the post and the MOD Squad will get it. They're sticklers on spam.

I am new to the forums and have bought off the "For Sale" section. My post level is low for the simple fact I spend most of my time reading instead of asking questions that have been asked before. So please bear with some of us new people were are descent and want to learn.
Thanks

I think all that is being asked if for new members to "Be Patient".
