I used to use neg film and trust me at high ISO's u get even more grain.
Old colour film, and even slide film, show more grain than modern DSLRs in the equivalent ISO. I would even say that many modern DSLRs are showing even less grain than B&W film at any given ISO. It's a tough comparison for those who never had to work with film in a dark room and do their own enlargments. I use to lurve Ilford 125 as I could get very little grain showing on enlargments (again, depending on what developer you used, temperature, timings, etc)

For the same reason people moan about the 500d (which isn't even available here yet), 5d mark II, 40d, etc etc etc . People just like to **** or get the last word in, plain and simple
Yeah, well I hate the absolutely huge files and detail that my 5DMII produces
So true, people **** a lot about their equipment but 99% of the time it's the monkey behind the camera causing problems and not the one in the camera. It is a little monkey that runs about and closes the diaphragm and moves the shutter curtain...isn't it?
