I took a moment to look at your shots. I like the look of your site BTW.

Most of the shots look candid, which I personally like. Good captures across the board. It might just be me, but most of the pictures looked like they could use just a little bit more sharpening and then they would be perfect. This could be due to compression etc. Good work though!

not bad...

couple things though..
1)the skin tones on the shots of the kids is off. their skin is a yellow/orange/green color on my monitor.
2) I agree that there needs to be more sharpening done on some of the photos.
3)You need more DOF on the family shot. The mom and dad are sharp but the kids are not. try shooting at f8 or some where around there.

Thanks for the positive comments. The parents didn't really want to be in ANY of the pics, thus the shallow DOF. Towards the end of the shoot they agreed to do a family sit down which took forever. That two year old WOULD NOT look at the camera at all. Tip for anyone working with kids, bring a sock puppet or high pitched squeaky noise toy to get their attention.

I am having a hard time sharpening in LR without making the image look too processed. Does anyone have any tips on sharpening?

I had just got my 5D the day before and it seems as if the metering is much different than my XSI. It blew everything super bright so I had to tone it down in Light room.
